Deploying a PHP application to cPanel is simple once you fix the order of operations. Follow this exact sequence.
1. Upload & extract
Upload the ZIP through File Manager into public_html and extract it in place.
2. Create the database first
Create the MySQL database and user in the Database Wizard, and grant ALL privileges. Keep the generated prefix handy.
3. Run the web installer
Open your domain — the installer checks PHP version and extensions, writes the .env file and creates your admin account.
4. PHP version & cron
Set the domain to PHP 8.2+ in MultiPHP Manager, then add the cron job from the docs.
5. Force HTTPS
Enable AutoSSL, then force HTTPS from the app settings. Test a checkout end-to-end in test mode before announcing the launch.
